Giant Amish buck

Recommended Posts

This maybe old new, but I just had it e-mailed to me so thought I would share. Apparently this giant was killed by an Amish guy named John Schmucker in Ohio. He shot it with a crossbow. Check out his, uhmm... transportation. Now that's the definition of a traditionalist.

Does Boone and Crockett Club accept trophies taken with a bow?Yes, our Records Program includes trophies taken by bow, rifle, hand gun and other methods.

I know B&C recognizes bow shot game, but this was taken via crossbow. Do they accept those?

Yes they do as long as it was taken legally.
