i am there just about ever weekend i am in a 2011 ranger with a fuul cab (green) minus the doors

i am headed up in about 1 hour

Ill be out there in a Gold Tacoma with Camper Shell Muzzy sticker on side.

Were you out there last weeeknd? I was in a white jeep and saw a Gold Tacoma.

 

I was there either last week or week before cant remember, I was out towards tule canyon and lake pocket.

 

PS. Does anyone know who the owner of pine flat headquarters is?

If anyone sees any nice bulls I wouldnt mind a PM :) My Uncle finally got a tag for nov. he asked me to take him out. Thats sets me up to go on a hunt for Aug,Sep,Oct,Nov and Dec!!!! Gonna be heck of a year

heck yea. Hunting rig is a Ranchero! Mad respect from a chevy guy! Didnt know they made Ranchero that late?? 1999?

Hah. Not a real Ranchero... I just call it that because it has no ground clearance and very little payload capacity. But it gets me there somehow.

there are no elk or deer in unit 8 - everyone just enjoys driving the back roads because you rarely breakdown before 6 cars . trucks come crusin by.

 

one of the most road hunted units in the state!

I like road hunters.they push deer to the more remote areas I hunt. And at the same time, the more that stay in their truck,the less i hunters I have to worry about coming across away from the roads. Win win!

Think I'll cruise the ranchero up there tomorrow after a couple hours at the range.

 

Does anyone know if its real muddy up there?
