What plant native to SE AZ?

Recommended Posts

A black bear was eating the berries from this tree or bush. Can anyone ID the species?

They taste slightly sweet, similar to grapes and have a large single seed inside.

Oh, and I missed the bear. 😡

They are berrius deathicus aka berry death. Usually takes up to a week and then hallucinations, extreme diarrhea and loss of hair. Whatever you do don't taste them.

Found some of these in some fresh bear scat yesterday, along with juniper berries and pinon nuts. Occurred to me if the bear would chew his food a little, he wouldn't be so hungry.

You're at the company Christmas party and everyone is taking handfuls of mixed nuts and swallowing them whole. What a painful crap next day.

Just saying.
