SunDevil Report post Posted June 6, 2017 it is my understanding the MX limit is 50 lbs per vehicle. it does not matter if one or 8 people in the vehicle. I have never been asked about amount of fish from someone in MX when coming back. I have been asked by a US officer. Makes no sense. One, why not 50 lbs per person? Two, why is the US asking about a MX rule? I know a guy that goes to MX fishing a lot. he has coolers with rollers. He always has the people with him get out with their passports and walk across the border pulling a cooler. Once across they get back in the vehicle and go on their way.
