rock for trail camera security

Recommended Posts

Yes, the appplications are limited. Ā I have a tank with no trees around it. Ā I’ll put it just below the top of the ridge pointing across the water. Ā Side hill on a trail I drop trace minerals on. Ā I’m trying to avoid losing moreĀ cameras hanging on trees.

I'd make sure no rain water collects around cam or mud swallowing it up.Ā  Water height on the banks of a tank can change dramatically with one rain.Ā Ā

I have thought about doing similar.Ā  Ā I hope it works.

Funny, my biggest concern is critters using it as a den.

You would have to leave your mom's basement in order to get out in the woods.

Good idea, but a lot of tanks don’t have rocks on them. If that’s the only ā€œrockā€ on the tank, it will draw yourĀ attention.Ā Ā GoodĀ luck. Let us know how they workĀ
