“Already tough enough.....” the guy with 20 BP for antelope and the guy with 2 BP basically have the same chance of drawing if they apply for the same hunt. I know it’s an unpopular opinion among a lot of hunters, but the guy with 20 point should have a more weighted advantage in drawing that tag...just my opinion.

I don’t see why anyone deserves a better chance at drawing a tag just cause they were born first or their dad started them out hunting at 12 instead of finding it on their own at 30.

Because they’ve been paying into the pot longer.

They paid for a chance to draw the tag. They had the chance and they didn’t draw. The world owes them nothing.

Youth tags, hand down tags, what else does the universe owe you?

Typical. You claim to be entitled to tags cause you are older than someone else then spin it.

Sorry man, everyone doesn’t get a participation trophy in hunting.

Where does age come into play? You could be 50 with 0 points. You’re unhinged.

I have drawn 5 bull tags in 9 years!  Luck of the draw boys!  3 antelope tags in 25 years.  Hoping for 3 elk tags in a row and another antelope tag.  heck I draw a muzz 12 ae deer tag with 0 points.
Good Luck to all the cry babies.

I

Quote

In the mid 1990s I drew pronghorn tags three years running. Nothing since and sitting on 24BP. That is just the way it is. No bitching from me.

People with max points should get a tag over a 12 year old.
New Mexico has the best youth opportunity anywhere.
Maybe Arizona cry babies should put in for New Mexico

So with Andy’s logic I should be able to apply for youth hunts then?

Go ahead and apply for cow hunts.
