I put this together over the last few weeks.

Savage short action with Accu-trigger

Tactical / oversized bolt handle

XLR Evolution Chassis

26" stainless McGowen barrel - Bull contour

Vortex PST 6-24 x 50

EGW 10 MOA picatinny rail

Warne Maxima Rings

CWT member "couesdeer" did the cerekote for me. Burnt Bronze and graphite black. He did an awesome and timely job. Highly recommend.

I have some R15 and IMR 4064 powder, Federal Match primers, Hornady 168 AMAX and 178 SSTs to load up this week.

I like the burnt bronze. I've been considering doing the same color for the build I'm doing. I almost got the XLR chassis, but ordered an Eliseo with a left hand eject. Have you had a chance to weigh it? I would be curious to know with that barrel contour. David

It's heavy on purpose. I want my 9 year old to be able to shoot it comfortably without a muzzle brake.

If anyone is debating between Duracoat or Cerakote there is no comparison. Cerakote is so much more durable and solvent resistant.
