I made these Sunday with ground deer meat, complete with the Chimchurri sauce. Pretty dang Good! However, I am now banned from the kitchen by my wife, as I decided to make my own dough. The kitchen looked like an 80's rock band had a cocaine party in it, there was white powder from one end to the other, on the cabinets, fridge, etc.... epic mess! But, dang, they were good! Maybe if I can find the pre made empenada shells, she will let me make them again n about 5 years after she cools off.

I love empenadas and venison is perfect for them. I buy the frozen discs of empenada dough.
Can you get them at pretty much any grocery store?
In my experience, yes. They are by the frozen burritos and/or the frozen pie crust and bread.
