But, shooting from that road wasn't a mistake. Neither was transporting a deer in your truck that you knew was unlawfully taken. See, at the commission meeting, the game warden was asked if the hunter could have stepped off the road and got a shot on that deer, and he said it would likely not have been possible because of the steep terrain and where the deer was positioned.
