NOTAGS Report post Posted 4 hours ago I remember my senior year in high school, Sunrise had a 180” base! Ski tips would drag in a couple spots if you weren’t careful. I remember complaining when lift tickets hit $18 a day…. Looking at lift prices now, how the heck can a family afford to ski? Worse than a trip to a Disney hosing. I quit after blowing out a knee, probably saved way more than the surgery cost after all these years..

I quit after blowing out a knee, probably saved way more than the surgery cost after all these years.. A couple years ago the resorts had over 300” for the winter. I buy day passes in July, when they are cheap. A $99 day pass lets us ski every Friday, or week day of our choice, for the entire season. We stay with my sister who lives 45 minutes from flag. We pack our own food. If we’ve had a good week, I’ll splurge for in-n-out for afterwards. It can still be done on the cheap.
