Hoss50 Report post Posted December 13, 2025 Late ask, the family and I are headed up north to Tonto to cut our Christmas in the AM. Is there any decent fishing right now up there? Is it worth taking our poles? Woodc Canyon, Willow, Tonto Creek? Last year we tried Haigler Creek on our Xmas tree trip and it had nothing of note. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
PRDATR Report post Posted December 13, 2025 I would try as you never know. I was at Woods two weeks ago with my son and all they wanted was power eggs on the bottom and it was real slow. wildwoody Report post Posted December 13, 2025 Woods canyon is good for tigers, rainbows put and take have been taken. Butt if you don't mind fishing the green valley park lakes, they have been loaded up with gila trout . We've been catching fish from 14-16".
