TR0UBLE SH00TER Report post Posted 4 hours ago My youngest son is about to turn 9 and needs a pair of binos for big and small game hunting. He's a decent sized kid at 53" tall and weighs 75 pounds. Seems the Vortex Bantam HD 6.5x32 might be the best option for small hands and faces, but I'd really like to get him something in a 8 or 10x, if possible. Around $200 budget Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you in advance!
mc68 Report post Posted 2 hours ago Check out Camera land. Looks like they have a good deal on a GPO 10x42 right now. I bought an Athlon binocular from them years ago that worked out really well for Grandkids, pretty good glass. They are good people to work with. Good luck. I even have a small bino harness for them. All yours if you’d like.
PRDATR Report post Posted 1 hour ago Since kids eyes are closer together a full size pair just doesn't come together close enough for them to get both eyes lined up. I would shoot Doug or Neal at Camera Land and have them make some suggestions. 6.5X is on the low side but, it might be just the right amount of power for him to be able to hold steady. He may get bored looking through them too for an extended period of time but 6.5 would be great when in the forest.

Maybe a little large but they both did fine with them. I still have them under the seat of my truck so I always have binos when I’m out and about.
Markleo21377 Report post Posted 57 minutes ago I don’t think they make these anymore but look them up…incredible clarity for how compact they are. I would love to see them go to another kiddo. I am up off Carefree Highway if you want to pick them and bino harness up Redfield Rebel 8 by
