San carlos?

Anybody draw? I know 3 people including myself that didn't draw. Crazy how the draw ended at midnight Saturday night and by 8 am Sunday morning they let you know if you drew or not

Last year they said I didn't draw but then about 3 days later it said I did draw.  I did actually draw a tag.

I got an email at 5:16 Sunday morning telling me we didn’t get deer or turkey tags

3 of us drew turkey…2026 tags! With hunt dates in 2027! Still confusing AF on their turkey tags this time around but I guess I already know I’m hunting next year.

Yep.  Happened to some in our group, too.   Confusing as heck!    But yes, at least plenty of time to plan!  lol

The 2026 turkey draw is now for 2027 as they forgot the turkey for 2026 was on the portal and they declared the 2026 turkeys hunts as OTC before they realized they were a draw on the portal. I believe they sold out for 2026 already.

Multiple guys drew more than (1) deer tag during the draw that just happened including myself. You had to pick which hunt you want by March 3rd and the additional tags will be forwarded to round #2 this week. If they don’t fill during Rd 2 there will be a 3rd round etc. There is still hope.

Correct. Unfortunately it wasn’t clear (on the lottery application the hunt dates even showed 2026 which further confused things) so I thought I was applying for 2026 hunt and I could have just bought OTC. Last time I checked there were still some tags left for the first hunt but that’s it.

Man there are so many different stories on this issue so I'll add mine. I was not lucky in the turkey draw but my buddy was. He also noticed his hunt was for the 2027 season with hunt dates of March 20 thru March 28. That's when i mentioned what was being said on here about the so called mix up on the tags and reminded him that the hunts always start on a Saturday so those dates dont make sense for 2026.

He called the San Carlos game & fish this morning and was told they are new to the lottery system and didn't realize the spring 2026 turkey tags were on the lottery this year. Even though they were last year. He was told that those tags are definitely for the 2027 spring hunt and DO NOT TRY TO HUNT THE 2026 SEASON WITH THEM!

Correct! In years past they let you buy (2) turkey tags per guy aslong as they were for different hunts. Last year they said u can only draw (1) tag. This draw just happened and we put in for the 1st and 2nd season to up draw odds and now we were able to claim 2 tags per person as we draw both choices. You just never know wheat there gonna do.
