Trump figured out he F’d up royally on this thing and he’s trying to just slide on out of there like nothing happened and Iran isn’t gonna let that fly.

My first thought last nite was well that could backfire on them if they blow up a ship of one of their neighbors and first thing on my news feed this am was "someone" attacked a thai tanker.  Of course that wasn't Irans neighbor but still.  

Then I saw US is striking the mine laying boats.  

I think I see everyone's viewpoints on the whole situation on both sides.   I do worry about escalation of another world war but at the same time I see Trump doing things that long term can be good for the US in terms of oil.  Even if a lib gets in next at least we set back Ira s capabilities by years and years. And I don't think even China and Russia is willing to spend the amount of money it would take to get them where they need to be militarily speaking. 

Of course the part of me that knows about Bible prophecy anything that involves Israel and the Middle East is always something that's probably on the mind of any Christian in this day and age.  But that is a whole another discussion and I realize a lot of people don't even look through that lens.

The Israel of today isn’t the same as the Bible. If you named your kid Jesus, should he be worshipped because it’s the same name as the one in the Bible?

Of course not.  And I very clearly made a point to mention that as a whole different discussion.  

I was simply commenting on how I ran laying mines wouldn't be just for the US but could have consequences unrelated to us.

and I don’t understand either of the points you’re trying to make here. What neighbors are you worrying about turning on Iran if they hit a mine?  They’re attacking Dubai already themselves. 
They’ve sent bombs here already.

I was just referring to the neighbors that they've already pissed off and was just thinking they could make things worse.  I don't know if it's true but I did see a new story saying that they apologized to those neighbors for attacking them right after the immediate strikes from the US.   Which is why I made sure to mention that the tie ship that was attacked obviously was not one of their neighbors.

Don’t forget the classifieds…the lifeblood of the forum. And a couple of times a year the “when’s the draw?” entertainment.
