AZ Sucks

Recommended Posts

In all seriousness though deer hunting in Arizona is rapidly declining. Between the drought, and every single person on the mountain having tripod mounted binoculars and the ability to think they can shoot 600 yards, deer hunting is going downhill and Gaming fish is more concerned about the impact non-residents have while archery hunting. While the real concern is drought, predators, 19 million rifle tags with zero mandatory reporting. but they refuse to address that issue

You forgot crossbows. They're the real reason behind the declining deer population.

If southern AZ deer tags are not significantly, and I mean significantly cut this year it's just firm evidence they don't care. Rifle tags should be cut at least in half as the herd is likely worse than that....

Last fall I hunted an area in southern AZ  that I hadn't been to in 15 years.  Where I used to see 50-60 deer a day I was now seeing 5-10, drought has hit them hard.

Come on Greg, you and I both know if they do any cut it will be 2-5% at best, where it should be more like 50%!

I would be happy to pay twice the price for a tag if they cut them in half but didn't lose any revenue. Since we all know game and fish is more about money than animals.

With all the cartels owning everything south of i10, a non resident will be lucky to make it out alive.

Stop spreading misinformation, it's dangerous. The cartels own everything up to Flagstaff. It's safer to pick another state.
