Looking for a gunsmith for trigger job

Recommended Posts

i recently got a new Winchester Model 70 in 270 wsm and it has the MOA trigger system which isnt to bad at the lowest of 3 1/2 lbs set, but would like to find a gunsmith to take it down to 2 or 2 1/2 pounds. Anybody know one? And how much does it roughly cost for a trigger job.

2nd Amendment Sports on Pima in Tucson (the old Jensens.) Frank Wells is one of the best. Should cost you around $50

Hmmm......I will check with them. I needed one about a year ago or so and I believe they were booked up big time. Murphys smith had also just quit as well.

Don't know if he does weekend work or not. Did my son's Ruger Mod 77/Mark II. Great trigger now.

Another Vote for Jake at Don's in Scottsdale, he is currently doing some custom work for me.
