Doe with antlers

Recommended Posts

Very cool! I wonder if a doe with antlers still has everything to reproduce. Did the ranger give any idea on age?

I took a JR out for spring turkey once and he ended up taking a bearded hen. When I cleaned it there was an egg inside. I'm guessing that's a lot more common that an antlered doe tho.

There's a lot of women with beards out in Apache Junction too

I have shot the rare bearded hen. Would be funny to see a buck mating an antlered doe.......lol

Whats this world coming to. Even the wildlife is getting creepy.

The opposite happened to a buddy of mine during an anterless elk hunt. It may have been anterless, but there were danglers present & it wasn't a calf either.

Believe it or not this happens more than we know. Alot of write ups about them in hunting magazines. I have a friend who killed one in New Mexico. Very strange indeed.
