rossislider Report post Posted August 14, 2015 Also with these carbon arrows you need to flex them. They can blow up on release. A guy I know had that happen last year at the Sunrise shoot. Had one blow up on me a few years ago. The string, which was almost new, popped at full draw. My bow limbs went flying and the arrow shattered into more pieces than I could find. I was lucky. Lots of small cuts on my arms and face from the bits of carbon fiber. But fortunately I had glasses on. It involved a few too many beers and accidentally picking up his grandson's arrow which was an inch shorter than his.
