Big bone, another set found!!!! Pics added!!!!!

Your buck may or may not be offspring to this buck, they only lived a few miles apart from each other. I picked up my buck in the spring of '04 which would put your deer 10+ of age. Same pile of beans anyway. Huge congrats. I've looked for sheds off my buck ever since.

Rage in the sage that buck is sick!!! Sheds??? Or you kill him?? And how do I know you, sorry. Or how do you know the two bucks lived close to each other??? And blunt in I am mounting all 3.

For curiosity, how far apart were each year of sheds found relative to when you killed him?

That had to be extremely exciting to find, not one, but both sides. Congratulations on your buck. :)

Thanks everyone, the 2013 set was about 4-500 yards from where I killed him, and the2014 set was about a mile away from the other sets. 2013 set was about 60 yards apart and the 2014 were touching.

Just curious, did you find the deer scouting, or shed first?

 

and 2) Did you drop everything to focus on him? I guess keeping him a secret would be tough. Did others know about him? It's a great story, I'm sure!
