no worries Report post Posted October 12, 2017 My youngest killed a nice coues last weekend in 34A using his 260 Remington. The 143 performed great at 560 yards. The bullet exited the ribs completely leaving a hole big enough to easily pass a golf ball thru. Deer took maybe 2 steps and folded up. I really like how they shoot and they can flat out kill deer. no worries Report post Posted October 14, 2017 Thx guys. We dropped almost 150 fps switching from 120 BT to the 143s. Accuracy was slightly better with the 143s. Current 143 recipe goes 2710 in a stock Tikka 22.6 barrel. 1 in 8 twist. We relied on Hornady's ballistic info. Never had an opportunity to verify before the hunt. Their info was pretty accurate.
