Anyone aware of any new mining operations in 35B?

Trying to find out if any one has seen or heard if there is new mining operations in 35B?

Ran into the safety guy for Rumco, said they been working at the Patagonia mine for awhile. Been lots of work trucks with whips and campers at the campground right next to the school right there in town. I believe the mine is just south of town but not sure.

Yes...the mine is on both sides of harshaw road in 35b.  Getting bigger every day.  Lots of land, roads, and gates are now locked up.

Yup, it's a pretty big Minning operation.  Been going on for a few years now.  Lots of vehicle traffic on harshaw and FSR 49 now.  Like AZlance said, new major minning roads constructed and some older FSRs are closed to the public.

Could be ASARCO. They hold the rights to some old mines in the area.

It was a Canadian firm a couple years ago. It shows up on Google maps. A number of locals tried to stop it but no go. I think they are going after silver, a lot of the old claims around there were silver deposits.

This is the current footprint of the mine...although this pic as about 6 months old. Its supposed to get alot bigger.
