Which rangefinder?

Recommended Posts

Looking at new rangefinders and trying to figure out what’s best?

The Gunwerk’s seem to be out of favor for some reason. Don’t see many of them anymore.

Sig - Anyone have insight into which models have battery issues? Also, it appears the 2400 is only available in BDX. If I’m not planning to use the Sig scopes is there a lower cost option without the bdx? Any drawback to using the bdx without the Bluetooth features?

Anything else people are using that they really like?

The 2400 abs is supposed to be awesome, I have a 2200 BDX and it’s ok, my Leica Is hands down more clear. I bought the Leica used and the sig new, go figure.

Do the sigs have the archery mode for angle compensation. I should know this already...

Yes. I don’t know about all of them, but my 2200 has angle compensation.

Anyone using the Leica CRF 2400 or the Nikon Monarch 3000?

I am really interested in the image stabilizing function of the Nikon. These were all the rage at shot show 2018 but haven’t heard much since.

The G7 BR2 or G7 BR2500 are both discontinued.  Supposed to be a new version coming out.  But they are still great LRFs.  Finding one used is not easy.  People hold on to them for a reason.

I had the vortex ranger 1800 I believe for a few years and I’ve never had any issues with it, I mainly just use it for archery but I have ranged deer out to 1200 yards with it as well.
