I have no intention whatsoever on buying this but have an honest question. Is 22lr really over $95 a brick? I’m a bit out of touch.

No...I bought a federal 550 pack at cabelas for $30 about a month ago.

No idea, but I guess I'll find out.  :D

I looked on wikiarms and ammoseek and price was ~20 cents/round.

Granted, not exactly a thorough amount of research went into to me setting a price, but close enough to get a starting point.

Yeah, but to fully disclose, they (above post) are out of stock now and the quote about getting them in 4 days was from January 2019. While I think $300 is silly, we are at least for a while in a crazy market. My time machine is broken so I can't go back to 2019 when ammo was plentiful🤔

Panic spurs the market. I bought a 525 pack of hollow points at Caballas not too long ago for $29.99.    Online prices are absurd compared to brick and mortar when they can get stock.

remember that when life goes back to normal, and you want a local place to swing by ...

How about a trade? 1 lb bottle of Retumbo (once fired) and 200 steel 7.62 cases (rusty and also once fired)
