Draw hunting dates overlap?

Recommended Posts

I kinda like unit 8 . Lots of hidden spots for wht.tail.

Does G&F even look at the dates.

Wht.tail. Oct.22 - 31.   75 tags

Muley.   Oct 29 - Nov.4.     500 tags

So  if I  draw  the wht.tail tag, on a 10 day hunt,   I get 500 muley hunters in the woods for the last 3 days

For Dec. A whooping 10 any antlered, not  just wht.tail

Guess it won't be crowded then. Lol

I sure there are other overlapping hunts !

All the information is in their hunt guidelines and recommendations.  Wouldn't worry about the mule deer hunters if you're hunting hidden spots for whitetail.

Guys in 23 with December whitetail tags had to deal with unlimited OTC archery deer tags for years. It's changed now but many units are that way. The more hunts you can stack into a year the more money for azgfd.

You can believe that 500 hunters will be in just about every nook and cranny  scouting and or hunting.

Its hard enough finding whttails in  the" hidden spots ".

The overlap is stupid. I've never understood why they do that. Some can't be avoided.. especially late hunts but some make no sense. On the flip side, you'll probably only be competing for camp spots. Most rifle muley hunters up in that country won't hunt nearly as hard as the coues guys.

It's not a rut hunt so if you've done your homework you should have at least 5 days of hunting before the muley hunters show up, should be plenty of time.

 654321 guess you don't wht.tail hunt much!

If I'm lucky enough to find a shooter scouting.

There has been yrs. where I've spent 15 days  during season and never found him agin.

Just saying overlapping is B.S.

How do they do any antlered deer tag?

Really ?  Means even antlered does are legal. Otherwise they need balls too!

No I meant if its any antlered deer why do they let you hunt them at the same time, and don't have mule and whitetail hunts over lap. Haha you totally missed it and you have balls..

Hunt Whitetail plenty but where I hunt there are 750 tags not 75.
