Any news on this? Saw they killed a big ram. Though guides convicted of crimes couldn’t help anyone for 10 years or something

He wasn't on the list for the agenda and his name was striken from previous mentions on the agenda.

Been checking and haven't seen anything new about it. He either convinced them to not take it or maybe he has appealed it again? I can't find anything regarding an appeal though.

Since when has a court stopped poaching guides from continuing to be dirtbags? Look at the Ward family for example…

Let him swing.

For what?

I sure don’t have a love affair with the dude but the only charge I ever saw was for flying to scout for mule deer during an open OTC hunt for pretend elk on the strip. Those hunts are open like 9 months out of the year. Lion hunts are open the same for almost the whole state.

So are we saying that seeing wildlife while flying is always illegal in AZ?

Were not saying always but the state and the judge sure thought so in this case. Regardless, the law says you can't fly during an open hunt and he did. Even if its nitpicky it's illegal.

It’s a dumb technical interpretation of the law used to specifically target a well known person.

It’s not good for anyone when government gets an ego.

A dumb technical interpretation? I guess reading comprehension is an issue amongst some hunters. Looks pretty clear to me. You don't get to just decide you don't like the law.

Note the 48 hours prior to the hunt starting. That’s where this came about

He played some games on a 3c hunt I had. Him rolling in his yellow avalanche on the res line. Just me.

Lol that's your response when shown the facts? Are you three years old? Don't justify breaking the law because you don't like the law. He was flying during an open hunt. Case closed. Be a better example for your boys.
