PRDATR Report post Posted June 21 Having an FFL is a huge responsibility. Knowing when to sell and to whom goes along with it.
MULEPACKHUNTER Report post Posted June 21 I had a guy trying to sue me for refusal of service. Nothing came of it. He had his 15 year old adopted daughter order an AR lower from PSA and her 18 year old Foster Brother shows up to pick it up. PSA sucks for selling undiscriminated, they do have the age restrictions on the front page of the website though. So I refuse the transfer and offer a refund and the Dad shows up wanting to transfer to him and i again refuse and tell him he needs to order one himself if he wants one. He's a real pecker about it but comes around after some information and decides he wants a billet lower, I tell him to bring me a deposit to make one and he never shows back up with the money. Then he shows up 3 weeks later and wants the billet (which i never made) and now he's pissed about that and doesn't remember me telling him about the deposit. Alot of people really have no idea that there are gun laws and regulations, i run into people all the time that also have no idea of hunting regulations. Unfortunately ignorant people also get an opinion and a place among us. Turns out the guy and his wife live off of foster kids on an off grid ranch. 1
PRDATR Report post Posted June 21 I was in a store about 25 years ago picking up something from their smith. I hung around the counter waiting for them to find it and there was a middle aged couple buying a firearm. Counter guy comes back and tells the dude he was declined. They talked about it for a few minutes trying to figure out why. The salesman then tells him he can't sell it to him but he can sell it to his wife. I didn't stick around but you can guess the rest. AZ11 Report post Posted July 3 There was a post on this campfire forum in April of last year about this gun shop's grand opening.
CatfishKev Report post Posted July 3 Yeah that was me, I feel bad for these folks. I talked to the owner but he asked me not to repeat any thing we discussed. Do I think they knowingly sold to a straw buyer? Heck no I don't, can't say more then that other then I'm not a fan of the ATF.
firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted July 3 Why would you feel bad Kevin? They got caught doing some (highly) illegal schit. ATF and all over government alphabet agencies don't raid until it's an open and shut case. Did you read the article? "Is there a checkpoint?" "Yeah, dont tell them what you have". Absolutely NOTHING to feel bad for them about.

Absolutely NOTHING to feel bad for them about. It's a legal firearm it's none of the checkpoints business. If I had a 50 cal semi auto in my truck I'm not gonna tell the guys at the checkpoint either. So if that was said when selling the firearm that would be a moot point. If he was selling an illegal full auto yeah that would be a different story. Yes I read the article, and yes I absolutely believe the ATF has railroaded people. CRS YouTube guy even contacted the ATF on the selling of the key cards more then once from what I understand and he's doing time now. If you watch a lot of gun channels there is lots of fodder indicating some ATF enforcement has been suspect. Now if the alleged straw purchases are on video proving that they "knowingly" were making straw purchases then that's a different story as well. At the end of the day, I wasn't there and don't know what exactly took place. Just giving the benefit of the doubt. Not looking to get in a pissing match here, just voicing my opinion. firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted July 4 Hard to feel bad for a guy who was doing illegal firearms schit, especially after Brian Terry was killed with weapons bought and sold the same way.

Well even if this guy is 100% guilty he still gave a Fukton less firearms to the cartel then the federal government did. Fast and furious, memba dat?
