EarlyBronco Report post Posted August 23 Do the ones you have shoot good?
4huntrs Report post Posted August 23 I have had experience with four different Christensen rifles all shoot great. Anyone buying should feel confident they will get a great rifle.
EarlyBronco Report post Posted August 23 Yeah mine shoots great too I wouldn’t worry about it, pretty sure they don’t go from shooting fine size groups to throwing bullets all over the target, if you have one that shoots good I’d say your good 👍
Rubberduckie Report post Posted August 23 I had a 6.5prc. Had issues with the chamber being too tight. Hard to extract factory new ammo. Overpressure on fired factory ammo. I had a gunsmith clean the chamber with a new reamer. That fixed the issue then it shot great. Although it's not something you should have to do on a new "premium" rifle.
matt Report post Posted August 23 Christiansen rifles are like vortex scopes, it’s either broken in the brand new box or you’re good to go. If it’s good, keep it. 2
Viper Report post Posted August 23 I've been very happy with mine. I have 1000 rounds through it and still shooting 1/2 moa with handloads. I did use the AW2 reamer on it to fix the "clicker" issue. If I bought another new rifle, I would probably go a different route. Although, I read about quality issues with several other brands.
HuntHarder Report post Posted August 23 Is this real? You have guns that shoot good, but you got an email saying that a company has had issues with them. Your reaction is to sell yours? SMH.

millerpe1327 Report post Posted August 23 if the rifle shoots good how does a separate company's business decision effect your good shooting rifle?

Crazymonkey Report post Posted August 23 I remember some of there earlier rifles were having de- laminate issues with there carbon wrap barrel. Those issues seem to have been fixed with the times. If your rifle is a shooter I'd not worry about it just yet as sooner or later if there is a quality issue it will come to light .Enough issues with quality will be hard to cover up. The shooting community will bring it to light .
