bigorange Report post Posted September 23, 2025 In addition to the 2 hunters in CO I found out today one of my old hunting buddies died suddenly. He had moved out of state and didn’t hunt a lot anymore but was with me when I killed my first archery deer…the mulie in my avatar. He shared his hunting spots with me and was probably the reason I was able to get a shot that day. He was still young…in his 50s and died of a GI bleed while out of the country for work. SEAL and leaves behind a wife and 2 daughters. Life is short. Having a bourbon for him and a tequila for his wife tonight. RIP old friend. 6 5 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Nice memory.
