Camofire/Blackovis closed

Wonder what happen with these 2 companies, they closed down all of a sudden. Top of their we page says cease operations.

Bankruptcy.  Aziak came out and said he is owed $9k by them and was told they will not pay him because they filed bankruptcy.

Dang I liked campfire.

I have a different take on Camofire.- I thought it was a scam, poor return policy and I know people who work for businesses that sold (or provided) items to them and per the people I know- jack asses - I also noted anythig on sale I could find on Amazon for 1-3% more but way better return policy.

What I did like is seeing things I have no use for but often thought about buying 😀

My exact experience and sentiments also.

Nary a tear shed by me for their demise.

Interesting. Never had any negative experiences and also enjoyed seeing things I didn’t need but might have bought since they were on sale. My few purchases were always smooth, but never had any returns or contact with customer service.

Camofire was pretty cool, got some shirts and hats here and there

Unfortunately, more info out there on the webs about this.  Reeks of corruption and fraud IMO.  Severance packages, owner claiming severance because he legally wasn't the owner.  Do some searching, if you care to.  

I used to buy a bunch from them as well. There merino was the best deal going.

Camofire was great 10-15 years ago when they had Sitka Saturday and everything was 50% off. Then for whatever reason their discount started to decrease and a quick google search could usually find same item for less. Haven’t purchased there for years now.
