Fire Wood Rack

Finally have my new wood rack finished and in place.

My Wife and I are happy how it turned out.

Everything I need right a my finger tips and not scattered everywhere.

Picked up a nice Juniper slab for the top.

I really hate to even cover it.

Sure beats what we were doing before.

It actually holds a a bit more wood than the cart.

I am not a cabinet maker so I had the base made.

I did the finish work and iron work.

That thing is awesome!

 

You should sell them!

 

Not sure I could sell very many.

I have about $500.00 wrapped up in it

and got the slab and twisted iron for a steal.

 

Can't really see it in the picture but

the top of the base is covered with a thick clear plastic

to protect the surface and in the summer It can be removed

as well as the cross members that support the wood.

That is really nice Mike. My wife saw the pictures will I was looking (she's a backseat CWT.com reader). We've been wanting to make a woodbox for our cabin to keep the mess somewhat contained. Looks like it just moved up n my list of things to do. ;)
