That is what I was thinking. If you gave it to the law enforcement, I bet they would say ok we will look into it. While your claim goes straight into the trash. The best chance to catching that guy would to post the pic and see if anyone know who it is.

Sorry to hear about your camera. I would just post their picture on every hunting sight you could find. Somebody is bound to know them. To me that would be humiliating that anything you could do to them physically or whatever you are planning on doing to them. Be careful it is a crazy world and after all it is just a camera...

I have a friend who is an electrician and he made a box to put his camera in out of high test cable and some type of lock box. I will try to get the info on what exactly he used but if someone steals that camera they earned it. Some people will steal anything but I would think hunters would be more courteous. I saw a water hole that had 2 cameras on the same tree. I thought it was pretty funny but also pretty cool not to screw with the other guys stuff.
