Any Ice on Sunrise?

Beauty. Last I checked the white mountain independent hadn’t updated the fishing report since November 16

I gave up trying to read the G&F Weekly Reports, with they would go back to the old format.

That's a dandy but I don't recognize that lake?  Must be from the peoples socialist republic of Kalifornia?  Looks like water level is way down.

Hoping to do some ice fishing on Sunrise this week too. It's been a long time but always fun when they're biting. Any new reports?

Supposed to be getting really cold next few days that’s gotta help the ice situation

I know a guy that was supposed to go to sunrise yesterday.  I’ll try to get a hold of him and see how it is.

Guy I know went yesterday.  There was a little open water on edges.  Ice not thick enough to get on.

Thanks Brian.

Man it's weird. When I first moved here back in the '80s the hardest part about ice fishing was either the long trudge in with a couple feet of snow, or drilling half a dozen holes through 12-18" ice. Guess it's just a sign of the times. I know some old guys who used to drive out on Rainbow Lake and cut blocks for their ice house every winter. Can't remember the last time I saw it iced over. Times they are a-changin'.
