It is. But I've never seen a bull that dark. I was gonna go after him towards the the end of the hunt if I didn't have something better by then.

I saw a charcoal bull like that for 3 years in a row in 7W.  Don't mind that monster in the middle...

Not necessarily, but a possibility.  The charcoal bull I saw from March to December, numerous times a year for 3 years in a row.  Always the same color.  In the full on snow/frozen to heat of the summer.
