Can you kill sows and cubs now???

I thought they were trying to throw us archery bear hunters a bone, you know, making it easier for us to pack out our kill. 😁

Not sure at what age a cub outgrows the name but the 2018 tooth age report showed close to 30 bears that had their teeth aged at 1 year.

I actually saw a guy one time who had trees a sow with two cubs. He was trying to roundup three people with bear tags so they could kill the two Cubs and then the sow so it would be legal. People are sick. I’m sure something like this is the reason for the change.

I am reading that like:

You can shoot any bear with the following exceptions:

A sow with cubs

A cub with sow

So, (IMO) no.  You cannot shoot a sow with a cub, or a cub with a sow.  

I do see how the misprint could confuse a newer hunter.  But, you are supposed to read the regs and know your legal game animal.
