I have a Quigley-Ford Long Range Scope for sale. 3-12X50mm This is a brand new scope, never been mounted. The crosshairs are etched out to 1000 yards. It is specifically set up for a 7mm RUM 150g 3450fps with a 200 yard zero. Looking at ballistics charts, it should be pretty close for anything in this ballistic range including 300 win mag 180g. The Quigley-Ford website retails this scope for about $875 and has a lifetime warranty. It's a very nice scope. I won it and just have no need for it. $600 OBO. Can call or text me at 575-574-2004 Thanks!

Every year something new is released in the hunting world that claims to revolutionize the way you will hunt forever. Normally these items are made for late night T.V. infomercials and will more than likely never help you fill your freezer. Although, there is a trend that is becoming popular in the tactical shooting world, which can and will give you an edge this season. Ever since hunters first went afield with muskets to hunt for that evening’s meal, their rifles were hampered by wooden stocks. Wood stocks are classic and clean in appearance but their draw backs make them a less than efficient means to an end. Wood swells and shrinks with temperature and moisture changes and is susceptible to damage from drops or mistreatment. To remedy this, hunters started to build stocks out of synthetic materials, like plastics, carbon fiber, or fiberglass. While these stocks are a great option they also have their limitations and are usually stiffened up by aluminum bedding blocks for accuracy. Tactical shooters in the last few years have come to the realization that by doing away with inferior materials they could build a rifle chassis completely out of aluminum for a much more repeatable and accurate rifle system. The drawback to these rifle chassis has always been their weight and bulk. Aluminum rifle chassis have not been built to throw in a pack and carry into the field, they have been made to carry to the range and impress your fellow shooters still shooting their stock Remington 700. That is anyway, until now. The new Outdoorsmans rifle chassis was designed by hunters for hunters and features the lightest aluminum hunting stock made today. This modular system allows you to customize your own rifle to fit your hunting style. The chassis are built for the Remington 700 style action and no fitting is required, you just bolt your existing action right into the chassis, choose what kind of AR style butt stock and grip you want and you are ready to go. The Outdoorsmans chassis was designed with a blind magazine to save weight and minimize moving parts that could fail in the field during that shot of a lifetime. It was also designed with an optional plate that allows you to mount it into an Outdoorsmans Pan Head on your tripod for a rock steady shot when the opportunity presents itself. With hunters designing this chassis system everything was thought of to make this the best rifle system for the modern hunter. So this season if you are looking for the most revolutionary product, that will give you an edge in the field and bring your rifle into the modern age, check out the Outdoorsmans rifle chassis and build your custom rifle system today! Hey guys! I've got a PhoneSkope for an iPhone 5s in a Otterbox Defender case. All you'd need is the adapter for your specific spotter that connects to this. I upgraded phones, so this has been barely used...perfect shape. Sells for $49.99...first $20 takes it. I'm around 67th Ave. and Happy Valley or work at 43rd Ave. and Bell.

Does anyone have or has anyone ever used Vixen bino's? A co-worker has a pair and says they are really bright and loves them for the price but I have never heard of them. Just curious if they are as good as he claims they are.

After a ton of deliberating, I've decided that I want to go a different direction with my hunting optics. Currently for sale or trade I have the following: Vortex Kaibab 15x56 Binoculars - Bought these binos in the fall of 2010 in anticipation of my desert bighorn sheep hunt (sheep success mojo included ). Lightly used. No scratches on the lenses whatsoever. Coatings in great condition. I still have the original box and paperwork that's included. Covers for lenses intact, comes with tripod adapter. $850 OBO includes shipping and insurance Pentax DCF SP 10x50 Binoculars - I've had a pair of 10x50 SP's for quite a while now. These are great optics for Arizona. Light enough to go handheld, bright and strong enough to glass off a tripod. I had a pair that got ruined on a hunt (entirely my fault) also in 2010 and Pentax replaced with a brand new set. These have only been out of the case a few times. Excellent condition. No scratches on the lenses or coatings. Includes tripod adapter. $400 OBO includes shipping and insurance Slik PRO EZ Tripod with pan head - $75 OBO plus actual cost to ship (will include with Kaibab's for $50, won't sell alone unless Kaibabs sell first). What I am ultimately after is a set of Vortex Razor HD 12X50 binoculars. I would consider a trade for these. Let me know if you have any ideas. All reasonable offers welcome. Hope it works out!

Posting this spotter up for trade. The pics in my last post would not show up in ad for some reason. So here it is... New Nikon Field Scope III 20-60x60mm Spotting Scope. It is new and never used/taken into field. I only opened it to check functionality and then put back into box. Looking to trade it for a pair of Vortex 15's... -
** SPF ** to Rharris on CWT. Thanks to all. The best piece of advice I ever got in hunting optics was: “You get what you pay for”. The worst piece of advice I ever got in hunting optics was: “Buy as much optic as you can afford”. I believed the first, but followed the second. The result was ownership of several different pairs of binos over the years. Taking a loss each time I upgraded, but never really knowing what I was missing out on. About eight years ago, I finally bought this pair of used Swaro 10x42 WB SLC’s . The first time I took them out scouting, I remember thinking: “man, I should have bought these years ago”. All that time and money wasted on inferior optics thinking they would get me by until I could afford something better. Do yourself a favor – buy the best. If you can’t afford it yet, then don’t compromise. Save your money until you can step up to something worth having. There are lots of good optics out there and looking through glass can be very subjective. And yet, there is a general consensus that when it comes to binos, Swarovski and Leica are at the top of the heap. The Victory line of Zeiss could also be included as well. Well, here is your chance to step up to a great piece of glass. This is a pair of Swarovski 10x42 WB SLC’s. I have used these for the past eight years. About four years ago, they were completely reconditioned by Swarovski. You get everything you see in the pictures: The binos, orig. shoulder carry strap, the orig. case, Swaro literature and pin, and the box. The binos are in excellent shape, with the exception of one small (about 3% of area) rub mark on the finish of the objective lens in the right barrel. I didn’t even notice it until I started to clean them up. You can’t detect it when looking through the binos, but I felt it was worth mentioning. I tried to show this in one of the pictures. Body is in excellent shape with no rips, tears, etc. in armor. I will also throw in my Butler Creek bino harness as well. Binos are priced at $850. Reason for selling: Bought a pair of 10x42 EL Swarovision last week. If interested, call or text:602-361-7191.

Up for sale is a gently used Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40mm MC Scope. Both the objective and eyepiece lenses are in pristine condition with no marring, scratches, scrapes, etc. of any kind. The scope reticle is a medium cross hair that reduces to a fine cross hair in the center of the field (ideal for low light conditions). The matte black 1" body has no dents, dings or scratches of any kind. No visible "ghost rings" where ring mounts were placed. Both turrets track as they should and the eyepiece allows for complete focus. You can hardly tell this scope has been used. If interested please call, text or email at 602-361-7191. Asking $375. Not looking for trades at this time.
