Radios were banned a long time ago. People still use them though….

Game wardens have scanners monitoring those small frequency radios. When I asked why, they told me they were not legal. You look it up

I've heard it was illegal in the past, when I looked never found it in the regs.  It may have been in az but it ain't now.

With all the technology changes I think most hunts still maintain the 20 to 25 percent success. The Archery hunts have gone up for harvest numbers but that’s more because of more hunters in the field and more serious hunters putting in effort. In comparison look at golf equipment from 50 years ago to today. I believe scoring average remains the same.
