Mt Ord Murders

Recommended Posts

I thought it was weird for a 17 and 18 year old to be on Mt Ord camping alone. It's gotta be beef someone they know or they bumped into something bad. Seems like there is more to the story.

Might be a weird thing like this one on Reddington Road last year. Also super freaky. Guy was helping someone in the middle of the night with a tire, they shot him and took his truck : https://copperarea.com/arrests-made-in-paul-clifford-homicide/

I was thinking the same thing about what a random spot they were in camping. Wouldn’t even think kids that dont hunt would know about ord.

Yes, this case sure is curious and I hope the facts are revealed, but that just might not be possible given the nature of this crime.

I see 3 possible scenarios,  I'm not a trained detective but I did sleep in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

1) Wrong place at right time and just pure bad luck meaning a they suffered a purely random violent act.

2)  They saw or heard something they should not have on Mt. Ord.

3) Somehow involved in illicit activity and paid a heavy price for that involvement.

May they RIP.

I imagine if they were caught up in illegal activity then the police would have more to go on. I’m sure they’ve been through their phones and social media accounts. That makes it even more disturbing if it was either random or they stumbled onto something bad going on. We have some rifle tags in that area, definitely going to be vigilant and aware of what’s going on around us.

I can’t believe people are capable of doing such things and live with it. That’s a possible thrill killing. some sick bastard sharing the woods with us.

Maybe they had asked for fish pictures?

You did not just go  there, did you?

The world is full of sick psychopaths these days, and now our country has soulless immigrants that fled here after committing hideous crimes in their own countries.  I no longer look for the best in people, I consider the worse and remain vigilante around  anyone I don’t know.  We used to go truck camping all the time in my youth, set up wherever. Now I look for ways to watch approaches and limit access.

Just a month before this murder if even that long, there were a couple guys I think parked at 4 peaks ran into some guys then after they took off riding, the guys shot up their trucks with shotguns.

Another unsolved murder is the Emily Pike case recently. That was a brutal murder.
