Another unsolved murder is the Emily Pike case recently. That was a brutal murder. I saw the one vid it was like a few weeks after, trucks shot up at sycamore I think it was but I doubt that’s related imo the Emily pike, sad. You see she was sexually assaulted on the Rez their game and fish did the report, and they didn’t even prosecute the guy. She had a tough life i bring up the ord thing cuz i know some dudes hunt there for coues deer. Relative to our interests.

Sam Report post Posted July 4 It took two weeks to release the information about the location of the bodies; not being found next to their vehicle. This happened the weekend after graduation; but both of these kids were juniors. After 32 years as a high school counselor, teacher, coach and administrator this never gets any easier. I am pretty sure every year throughout my career I have had a student pass away (we had two boys die in an ATV accident this past fall). I work at their high school and it is going to be a tough start to school year. Like most of you guys, I have come across alot of sketchy situations in the back country. I used to always sleep out of my 74 Blazer on the border and never thought much about being shot. Seems less likely to encounter a life threatening situation on Mt. Ord; but like someone said, too many people have lost their morals, values and respect for others. A few years back, right across the highway, I stumbled upon an old timer panning for gold. He had his Ruger pointed right at me when I walked up. His skin was all eaten away - assuming it was from the mercury.

After a few characters showed up on cam I stopped bringing my children along to switch sd cards out.

bo5953 Report post Posted July 4 Years ago a buddy of mine walked into a marijuana grow in one of the deep canyons on Ord. Realized what he walked into and looked over and saw a guys jacket laying on a rock. Guy was probably right there watching him. He turned it in to the sheriff and the detective told him that there are a ton of grows between Ord and Four Peaks and to be careful as they are usually guarded or booby trapped. The detective told him about a shoot out they had with one of the groups on Four Peaks. The sheriff's dept. was able to find the grow and told him "it was only around 1,000 plants. Probably a high school kid." A HIGH SCHOOL KID?!? When I was in high school if a kid had 1 plant it was a big deal. Since then I have found a lot of weird shanty camps all over that mountain and across the highway. I too used to take my daughter with me when you could run cameras. After that incident my buddy had, I never scout, hike or visit that area (or any area) without being armed. A lot of weird people up to a lot of bad things. I grew up in a small town in Washington State that was right at the foothills of the mountains. There was a lot of bad/weird stuff happening there too. Hoss50 Report post Posted July 4 Super sad. Never go to the hills without being armed. I have never had any time to need it, but my wife and I had a weird encounter 1 night camping, and we got really weirded out and left ASAP in the middle of the night. Just a few hours or so before they were killed. He got up the next morning and turned the TV on, to see that the two kids were murdered. Strange how things happen. Very unfortunate for the people and families that lost loved ones. The Devil is definitely running lose.

Roofer Billy Report post Posted July 4 Up by Rodger Trough. Above Queen Valley. If You park in the parking lot at the very top. And hike or Horse ride North East from the parking lot. There are several abandoned and questionable campsites back in there. One area for sure looks like a old meth lab or something similar. All the plants and trees are dead for about 60 feet or so in diameter. And there is a old mine shaft full of plastic jugs and containers. Most have no labels on them. . Crazy shoot goes on everywhere and half the timeYou or I don't know shoot.
