What think ye?

Recommended Posts

What do you think? Got T-boned on my way to work the other day, not at fault. I have it in at the Body Shop with the other guy's insurance taking care of it. I started worrying about whether they would just consider it "totaled." And just send a compensation check or whatever. Really hope it doesnt come to that, as I love this truck and its fun driving :) What do you all think? Is it going to end the way I want?

So, I work at Home Depot by the Flagstaff Mall, and it was actually one of my regular customers that was pulling out of Home Depot parking lot. I mean you know what Forrest Gump says "Sh** happens." Accidents happen and I know I tboned someone once. Not trying to get mad at the guy that did it.

Thanks for the reassurance there Elkaholic!

I agree. That doesn't look that bad as I worked in a body shop for a while. Even if the axle is bent they can replace it or straighten the frame if it's not bent to bad. Sorry it happened but Forrest was right.

Good luck.

If the frame is bent, I would rather they total it. But it just looks like a new bed is in order.

Ford ranger? doesn't it kinda matter how old the vehicle is?

2003 Ford Ranger. I have no idea! This is all really new to me?

If they decide to total it, you might be able to buy it back for cheap and just pick up a used rear quarter panel, paint it and your done.

I bet they just do a side panel, that's what mine ended up with similar damage.

Awesome! Hopefully thats what happens :)
