Guest oneshot Report post Posted January 15, 2017 in the middle of nowhere while Mulie hunting in the rain and saw this half buried in the ground, knew what it was before I picked it up... About 40 years ago I was removing tumble weeds from a barbed wire fence line on a remote ranch in NM. Found a brass spur with the name REX brazed into the side. CouesWhitetail Report post Posted January 16, 2017 Spur is made in the old Spanish form, two-piece construction, scalloped heel band, chap guard on shank, 7 rowels, left side... Not going to clean it up, leaving it in "relic" condition... Can you post some pics of what the original would have looked like? I assume you already found some through google.
