Salt and Verde River Lakes are filling up

Yeah, I was surprised I thought mead would have got more. I member fishing off the jetty by the marina when I lived in vegas circa 99. Pretty sure the docks are still sitting on the ground at this level.  But hey it's a start.

They are releasing water fro Granite Reef Dam into the Salt River today.Got a text. I imagine it will be for a while.................BOB!

I totally understand that they need to release now, but we always get nervous that they will let to much out of Rosey. 

There won't be any water dropping out of Roosevelt due to the runoff. As normal, the releases there won't begin until later this spring. 

The releases now are all from the Verde side. Roosevelt still has a lot of storage.

Yes, both Hoeshoe and Bartlet are at 96% plus.

Another 6 feet or so and Roosevelt will be full!

I've never even seen it full. Gonna have to drive by and have a gander on the way to the youth elk hunt.

I think it has been about 15 years since it was full.
