Fire ban isn't a forest closure.  If the only reason you go to the forest is to build a fire stay home

Fixed it for ya.

My rural neighborhood was on fire twice last year due to ignoramuses having fires at home.

Beacon Fire, 15 acre wildfire near Williams 04-07-20.

This one was right by my house. The local FD did an awesome job and got it out quick.

When I checked Kaibab  website, there was no mention of fire restrictions.

Hearing there is a lot more discussion about this at the state level and some push back on restrictions so soon. Nothing set in stone yet for sure

Sounds like the 15th the USFS will ban camp fires. This is in an effort to minimize human caused forest fires.

doing that will reduce the need to bring in fire fighters and having them in close quarters in camp and possible virus exposure.

Just passing on what I heard.

Well not a bad idea for me, we ruin things too much in the name of hunting. Minimalistic life best.
