Made pork belly tacos tonight.  Picked up the belly at the Pork Shop.

The pork shop has really good meat... love that place. I get their pepper snack Stix every time I go there. Been get those since high school when we would drive over there.

Dinner was on the light side tonight:

Made scallops over wilted white wine garlic butter spinach, asparagus with black pepper and salt, with yams topped with toasted shaved almonds.

Chicken and dumpling soup, scratch made.  Nothing like hot soup on a hot day.

Now that the weather is getting real nice in New England, we dined outside last night with one heater going.

Made fillet and poached lobster in a saffron butter sauce for the Mrs.

I do have to say that it was mighty tasty.

Looks yummy I must say.

You'll have to get out your Ben "Winter" Coates soon as it should be snowing any day now.  ❄️ 😁
