Spring has sprung; 1st white-winged dove

Recommended Posts

My buddy in Sun City had them at his house on April 5th. When I lived in AZ, I would usually start seeing them the first week of April. The houses in our old neighborhood were in a former Orange orchard.

I have one that has hung around my house all winter the last two years. I thought that was strange.

They are probably like the snowbirds in Yuma. We have more and more every year that become full time residents and quit migrating back north for the summer.

I have seen them  white wings for a week or so here in Yuma. Those eurasians are a pest here.
