Red Rabbit Report post Posted 18 hours ago Somehow with only 6 bonus points, I drew an early rifle bull tag in Unit 9. I figured I would be hunting antelope in Wyoming this fall, so I only put in for the long-shot early bull hunt in 9. Guess I should have bought a lottery ticket too. 26 3

Red Rabbit Report post Posted 15 hours ago I was pretty excited when I saw that $135 charge as I knew I had only applied for hunt #3004. Wyoming antelope will have to wait until next year. Now to work up some new handloads for the 30-06 and 300 WSM. Will try some Hammer Hunters and Terminal Ascents. I used the Hammer Hunters out of my 6.5 WSM on the last two cow elk tags. Already have 180 grain Nosler Accubond and Swift Scirocco loads for the 300 WSM, but tis fun to experiment with different bullets.

Me and my little brother had planned on burning our 12 antelope point in Wyoming this year. But I drew a 10 late rifle bull hunt for myself. Gonna have to wait one more year. cole_train Report post Posted 10 hours ago Nearly same scenario for me. Drew a unit 27 early rifle tag with 9 nonresident points. Looking forward to getting down there this summer and learning the unit as best I can. 3

Something similar happened to me 3 years ago with an early rifle bull tag. Only thing I've ever won in my life. Just an FYI, now no one in my family draws tags with 90% chances now.....
