My brother shot this buck at 6:30 AM today in our "plan B" spot. He shot this buck at 810 yards. He used a Browning A Bolt in .270 using the new 150 grain Nosler Accubond Longrange bullet, and if you were wondering how that bullet would perform it did awesome! Massive wound channel, no exit. The buck tapes out at 86". Fun times.

My other brother just filled his tag. This is his second coues buck. Shot him out of his bed at about 2 pm. 375 yards using factory loaded 130 grain core lokts from his .270. Great job brother!

Very cool. Been wondering if anyone had used the LRAB on Coues yet... Very good chance he is the first.

Anyone else notice how big that first bucks neck is for October?

My brother is shooting that 150 grain LRAB at 2860 fps from a 25" barrell behind 50.5 grains of IMR 4831. At 810 yards it was going about 1897 fps and hit with about 1199 fpe.
