WTB decent binos - $400

pick yourself up a new pair of nikon monarchs. surprisingly good glass for <$300. i started with those and now have razor HDs but those nikons i'll never get rid of.....they do the job well and i won't put a bullet in my head if i f em up :)

Thanks everyone. I did end up buying a pair of non HD razors right befor the hunt. So far I like them a lot. Thanks for all of the advise and offers. I spent $500, a bit more than I wanted to but I believe I got better glass than I was expecting.

 

For those of you suggesting the Nikons, I have had a pair for several years and they have done the job well. No complaints, however, I do feel I have upgraded with these used razors.

Wow $500 for razors, sounds like a smoking deal. I would most likely have done the same thing with that deal. I'm leaning towards the viper 10x42 myself, gonna try a few different binos at sportsmans tomorrow. I Should be able to get them for around $300 with my discount.

Non hd so older razors believe they were open bridge style dark green

Anyone know what a good price for those old non hds razors? Is 500 a smokin deal? How do they compare to the hds?I'm looking at some online,wondering if I should pull the trigger

Old style razors are great glass. $500 is a really good deal. Traded a pair of 8x42 a couple years ago and i miss them.
