Name that gun!

Not a Colt but designed by the same guy as the 1911.

 

He liberated this one from a German officer. He kept this one with him as he wasn't issued a sidearm. He was the BAR guy in the platoon.

The pistol is a FN 1922 Browning.

I'll play...not vintage or too difficult to ID the model, but a little obscure since I think these were only made for a couple of years.

Old school 700 in THE camo of the times. Ive Only seen a few of them, and never in person. I'd like to own one.
Yeah I really liked that pattern at the time too (still do, just can't get much except waterfowl gear in it anymore) Guess I know who I'll contact if I ever want to sell it... :D

You didn't have to smuggle them back then. Just put it in your duffle bag.
