My boy received an opportunity to hunt bison on a big ranch in Texas and it was to cheap to pass. Beautiful oak covered hill country, rich with big whitetails and all sorts of other exotics that cross between these large low fence ranches. Once we found the herd it was about an hour of cat and mouse until he got a clean shot on one of the bigger cows. Not a hard hunt but just a cool experience! Our friends from Texas joined us and helped with the butchering. Ranch house we stayed in was built in mid 1800’s and had been burned twice in conflicts with the Indians nearly 150 years ago. Can’t wait to try the meat. Left it with a processor out there and they are aging it 10 days for best flavor and tenderness. The coat on this cow was perfect! Should make a great rug.

Ruger American 308, barrel cut to 18” and is threaded. Weaver Tactical grand slam 3-10 scope. All dope is ready to shoot past 600yards. Super light weight and would be a great rifle to pack or for youth to handle. I’ll throw in 40 rds of match ammo. $500. Mesa

I built my current house in 1990. I used one layer of 40# i have S tiles. I tore my chimney off a couple of years ago and had the roofer there to fix the 10x20 area that I replaced the sheeting on. He said my felt was in great shape and no need to re roof anytime soon. Most of the tile roof jobs that I used to bid for him ended up being a peel n stick type underlayment. Felt must be really crappy these days if it takes 2 layers of 40#

My son drew a tag for one of Colorado’s open space hunts this year. It is a neat opportunity because it allows you to hunt the month of December and January which fits well with kids school schedules. We drove out as a family Christmas Day and headed out on the 26th for our first day of hunting. Saw a pile of deer and my son picked the deer he wanted to harvest and made a great shot. It was a special day and one I will never forget. I can’t stress enough, IMO, how important it is to just get out and hunt with our kids! No expectations, no trophy talk, no making them wait years for a tag because we want them to shoot the buck of “our dreams”. Let them shoot what they want. Just get out there and soak up the opportunities…they grow up so fast and time is so fleeting!

Hey sir, I do have a contact. This place does mostly annual leases, so not sure if they sell single hunts. I will pass the info to you in PM.
