Tri tip, and some beef back ribs.  Wife made a quick green bean casserole, but forgot to get a photo of that.  Ribs were about perfect.

Smoked to 100 degrees at 220 with hickory, then seared on open fire.  Seared to a medium rare/medium.

Pics are sideways.

Try making a tri tip sometime but take it up to 203-205 on the pellet grill like you would a brisket..only way I cook them anymore. I wrap mine in foil at about 165-170 degrees with a couple slices of butter on it just because there’s little to no fat left in it at that point

Curious about the bait as well.  What lake was that?  I've been hankering for a boil, dang that looks good!

Did you soak it overnight? I have always used canned cat food in a minnow trap. I just make a few holes in them with a can opener (Church Key). Where did you get that trap?

So good I had it for dinner too. Housed the entire jar of pico. Interesting to see how that turns out for me.

That was out about 3hrs in the middle of the day. The traps she got off Amazon. They are about the best we have used. Sadly some idiot stole on that we let soak overnight.

Lunch today is broiled half wahoo and half cod over a pureed sweet potatoes, roasted cauliflower and light garlic asparagus.
